Gearing Up Limited was founded in 2000 to address the challenges posed by changes in automotive technology in St. Lucia. At the time few dealerships had the necessary equipment or expertise to repair computer based control systems fitted to cars and trucks.  Our services extend across the Caribbean region supporting customers regardless of location.

Gearing Up Limited now has a wide range of diagnostic tools which range from simple measuring devices and gauges to the most advanced OEM and aftermarket computerized diagnostic tools.  We invest in vehicle information systems to ensure that repairs are carried out to the manufacturers’ specifications with a warranty. Our services cover a wide range of applications from cars to commercial trucks, construction and electric vehicles. We procure and support a wide variety of personal and commercial vehicles ranging from electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles to specialized units such as special body trucks and airport fire service tenders.

In 2008, Gearing Up Limited entered the developing renewable energy business by setting up a pilot project with the sole electricity supplier, St. Lucia Electricity Services Ltd.   We have established partnerships with Tier 1 manufacturer suppliers and other support companies, allowing us to undertake projects regardless of size.  At the core of our renewable energy business is a focus on component quality which ensures robust systems suited to the challenges posed by the Caribbean environment. We have expanded our service offerings to include energy audits, hybrid energy systems including generator procurement, installation and maintenance, solar carport designs, charging infrastructure and backend charging support, electric vehicle procurement, sales, service among others. By 2020 Gearing Up Limited had designed, installed and maintained a number of grid-tied solar photovoltaic systems totaling over 1MW.

As of 2021 we have partnered with leading materials handling system providers and can supply install and maintain these systems across the region.
